VERSE 1 All praise to Him who reigns above In majesty supreme, Who gave His Son for man to die, That He might man redeem! All praise to Him who reigns above In majesty supreme, Who gave His Son for man to die, That He might man redeem! CHORUS O, blessed be His name! O, praise Him Lord of all! For we who once were dead in sin Can join in praising Him VERSE 2 His name above all names shall stand, Exalted more and more, At God the Father’s own right hand, Where heaven’s hosts adore. Redeemer, Saviour, Friend of man Once ruined by the fall, God has devised salvation’s plan, For Jesus died for all. VERSE 3 His name shall be the Counselor, The mighty Prince of Peace, Of all earth’s kingdoms’ Conqueror, Whose reign shall never cease. All praise to Him who reigns above In majesty supreme, Who gave His Son for man to die, That He might man redeem!

VERSE 1 Tis not that I did choose thee For, Lord, that could not be; This heart would still refuse thee, Hadst thou not chosen me. CHORUS 1 For Thou hast loved me first For Thou hast loved me first ‘Tis not that I did choose Thee For Thou hast loved me first VERSE 2 Thou from the sin that stained me Hast cleansed and set me free; Of old thou hast ordained me That I should live to thee. CHORUS 2 For Thou hast loved me first For Thou hast loved me first Thou from the sin that stained me Hast cleansed and set me free. VERSE 3 ‘Twas sov’reign mercy called me And taught my op’ning mind; The world had else enthralled me, To heav’nly glories blind. CHORUS 3 For Thou hast loved me first For Thou hast loved me first ‘Twas sov’reign mercy called me And taught my op’ning mind VERSE 4 My heart owns none before thee, For thy rich grace I thirst; This knowing, if I love thee, Thou must have loved me first. CHORUS 4 For Thou hast loved me first For Thou hast loved me first This knowing, if I love thee, Thou must have loved me first

VERSE 1 Of Him I boast, who shed for me His precious blood on Calvary, Who bore the cross that I might be His child forevermore. CHORUS His child forevermore, His mercy I adore; He bore the cross that I might be His child forevermore. VERSE 2 Of Him I boast, my Savior dear, Who takes away my guilt and fear, And bids me now by faith draw near, His child forevermore. VERSE 3 Of Him I boast, my Lord and king, Whose blessed name I love to sing; To him alone my heart shall cling, His child forevermore. VERSE 4 Of Him I’ll boast, while here I stay, And then to realms of endless day To be with Him eternally, His child forevermore.

VERSE 1 Under the care of God the most High Safe in His refuge, I hide Him I will trust when trouble is nigh PRE CHORUS Whom shall I fear? So whom shall I fear? CHORUS I am under His wings I find life in His name He is with me until the end of the age VERSE 2 Love thou the Lord; the God of salvation For thee He died and He rose To thee He gives everlasting new life PRE CHORUS 2 See how He loves See how He cares VERSE 3 Trusting in God, my soul finds its rest None from His love can depart In Him I find my comfort and care
5.
VERSE 1 Hosanna to the coming Lord! Hosanna to the living Word! To Christ, Creator, Saviour, King Let earth, let heav'n hosanna sing. CHORUS Hosanna, hosanna Hosanna to the living Lord! Hosanna, hosanna Hosanna to the living Lord! VERSE 2 O Saviour, with protecting care Abide in this, Your house of prayer, Where we Your parting promise claim, Assembled in Your sacred Name. VERSE 3 O Advent King, our sins forgive; Come in our lives and hearts to live, And let our humble souls become A temple worthy of Your name. VERSE 4 Then in the last and dreadful day, When earth and heav'n shall melt away, Your flock, redeemed from sinful stain, Shall swell the sound of praise again.
6.
VERSE 1 I've found a friend, O such a friend! Christ loved me ere I knew Him He drew me with the cords of love, And thus he bound me to Him; And round my heart still closely twine Those ties which naught can sever, For I am His, and Christ is mine, Forever and forever. VERSE 2 I've found a friend, O such a friend! He bled, he died to save me; And not alone the gift of life, But His own self He gave me; My heart, my strength, my life, my all Are His, and His forever. So now to watch, to work, to war, And then to rest forever. VERSE 3 I've found a friend, O such a friend! So kind and true and tender, So wise a counselor and guide, So mighty, my defender! From Him who loves me now so well What pow'r my soul can sever? Shall life or death or earth or hell? No, I am his forever.

VERSE 1 Be thou content; be still before His face, at whose right hand doth reign He is thy living spring, thy sun, Whose rays make glad with life and light. VERSE 2 Why art thou full of anxious fear How thou shalt be sustained and fed? He who hath made and placed thee here, Will give the needful daily bread. CHORUS O my soul, be thou content O my soul, be still in Him Be thou content Be thou content VERSE 3 Or art thou friendless and alone, Hast none in whom thou can confide? God cares for thee, o lonely one, His help, He will to thee provide. VERSE 4 In Him is comfort, light and grace, And changeless love beyond our thought; We know for us a rest remains, When Christ returns to take us home.
8.
VERSE 1 Prayer is the burden of a sigh, The falling of a tear, The upward glancing of an eye When none but God is near. VERSE 2 Prayer is the soul’s sincere desire, When uttered or in thought; Our simplest words alone can reach The Majesty on high. CHORUS Lord, teach us how to pray With humble hearts, we seek your face We call to you, for you are near Lord, teach us how to pray VERSE 3 The saints in prayer appear as one, In word, and deed, and mind; While with the Father, Spirit, Son, Sweet fellowship they find. VERSE 4 O thou, by whom we come to God, The Life, the Truth, the Way, The path of prayer Thyself hast trod - Lord, teach us how to pray. VERSE 5 Prayer is the Christian’s vital breath, The soul’s sincere desire; His watchword at the gates of death; He enters rest with prayer.
9.
VERSE 1 So precious is Jesus, my Savior, my King, His praise all the day long with joy do I sing; To Him in my weakness for strength I can cling, For He is so precious to me. VERSE 2 He stood at my heart's door in sunshine and rain And patiently waited an entrance to gain; What shame that so long He called to me in vain, For He is so precious to me. CHORUS For He is so precious to me, For He is so precious to me; For heav’n is my home, To my Lord I will go, For He is so precious to me. VERSE 3 I stand on the mountain of blessing at last, No cloud in the heavens a shadow to cast; His smile is upon me, the valley is past, For He is so precious to me. VERSE 4 I praise Him because He appointed a place Where, someday, through faith in His wonderful grace, I know I shall see Him, shall look on His face, For He is so precious to me.
10.
VERSE 1 He died, He died, in love Christ died, For me on Calv’ry’s tree; My sins are gone, my soul is saved, And now from sin I’m free. VERSE 2 He lives, He lives, in grace Christ lives, For me in love He cares; His rod and staff they comfort me, My load He always bears. CHORUS He died for me, He lives for me, He keeps me by His pow’r; He’ll come for me, to take me home, I’ll wait for that glad hour. VERSE 3 He keeps, He keeps, in pow’r Christ keeps, From self and world and sin; His peace doth guard from all alarm, I’m safe and glad in Him. VERSE 4 He comes, He comes, for me Christ comes, His promise is secure, “I’ll come again,” He surely said; By grace I shall endure.
